I tried to find this scene and failed. I don’t remember the episode….
It’s in Game Ogre! When Nick calls Monroe to give him a head’s up that he’s coming over to get him to look at a watch, and adds that he’s bringing his partner.
I already had these on my computer, actually, from back when I was screencapping shots of Monroe’s neck.
Also I love Monroe’s “I get it. Be cool. Wear pants.” Because you wouldn’t put on pants if it was just Nick coming over, Monroe?
#so at first monre didn’t like to see nick’s touching him #but then he’s so worried #because his friend is hurted#and in a hospital bed #so he touches him #as a way to say ‘hey it’s okay’ #i bet monroe is not a guy who has a lot of friends #and who doesn’t go out very much with them #so i bet nick is a really good friend for him #and he’s touching him in a way that shows more than just #oh man you are hurt #it’s like feelings #it’s his friend in a hospital bed #i am having monroe feelings welp #don’t make me love you more than i already do

I love that that’s pretty much the first time Monroe initiated physical contact, too. He was so worried. And so gentle and hesitant. And then he doesn’t touch him much again until Last Grimm Standing, and then Monroe’s just like ‘well, we’re going to die. touch touch touch.’
